Toxin free Room Climate Control

Despite giving maximum insulation levels the HIB-System gives a balanced healthy room climate due to its unique `breathable wall` system. Mould does not occur and the atmosphere is ideal for allergy sufferers. These properties are achieved by using breathable natural building materials and a patented ventilation system. Damp is removed from the atmosphere by diffusing the inside air through air vents to the outside of the building, however, the design of the blocks is such that a natural barrier is formed thus ensuring a draught proof atmosphere. The second advantage of the presence of clay in the filling is that it is able to retain a degree of dampness which prevents the atmosphere inside the building from becoming too dry.
If required the inside walls can be filled with river gravel which helps regulate the heat. Due to it’s high retention properties it continues to emit heat throughout the night and in hot weather it has the opposite effect, thus reducing the inside temperature. The result of this is to achieve a very narrow temperature range giving a pleasant healthy room climate.
