The HIB-System sound insulation is unique. The solidity of the wall (1cu.m to 10sq.m) and the cavity element of the blocks eliminate the amplification of sounds. The results are, therefore, equal to those achieved in a conventional brick built house.
The sealed compressed insulation of the outer walls achieves maximum absorption of sound. The formation of an air pocket behind the outer face creates a physical separation from the remainder of the system and, therefore, forms a further barrier to sound.

The density of the river gravel filling to the inner walls also contributes to the sound protection to the inner rooms.
To reduce sound leakage from floor to floor the HIB-System is very flexible and offers the opportunity to use varying structural finishes i.e. concrete or a lighter ecological wooden floor. The choice is yours!
