An additional benefit available is the option of a “second skin” applied to the inside of the walls which will house the electrical wiring and components.
The use of two layers of chipboard and the closeness of the vertical supports applied to the internal walls is also an advantage when attaching furniture, e.g. kitchen cupboards, to the wall.
