The HIB-System – The simple Building System
The HIB-System is a virtually problem free self-build system. The blocks are easily handled without the need for expensive lifting devices and lock into each other in a “Lego” style operation which achieves a very quick assembly time. Either part or total self build options give the potential for money saving.

| Apart from the excellent ecological and structural engineering properties it is the construction method which makes the System unique. The two faces are held together by “plates” using dovetail joints… |

| The HIB shelters have been designed to quickly create comfortable living space in crisis areas.
These accommodations provide both protection against heat and
cold and also against wet and wind. |

| Earthquake and storm proof wall elements:
Extensive tests conducted at the Technical University of Karlsruhe tested the strength of the HIB elements in storms or earthquakes and concluded that the HIB-System fulfils all earthquake and storm resistant demands.

| Tests simulated the effects of damp and varying temperature ranges on an HIB wall over the period of a year.
The results also took into account a changing climate.
The simulation shows the effects of damp and different temperature ranges on a HIB wall over a year. (unsteady U-values)
The unsteady U-value has an important meaning. The diagrams show the HIB element Ökoflex 300. There is no water condensation in the insulation.

| Our pre-designed houses meet the requirements of the KFW – 60 standard and with a small amount of additional cost the KFW – 40 or passive house can be met.
After reading the benefits of using the HIB System decide which aspects you would like to utilise in creating your ideal home.
